Traditional Algerian Carpets: Art and History

The Algerian Culture Salon in Canada (SCAC) proudly returns for its 4th edition, a major and unmissable cultural event dedicated to promoting Algerian identity in North America.

This edition will highlight an exceptional heritage:
Traditional Algerian carpets, true witnesses of history, ancestral craftsmanship, and the cultural richness of the country’s various regions.

Through exhibitions, meetings, and exchanges, the salon offers an immersive experience into the heart of Algerian art, craftsmanship, and collective memory, in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.

Although this 4th edition places a special focus on traditional Algerian carpets, the event is not limited to them. It will also welcome a wide range of exhibitors from the fields of tourism, art, culture, and Algerian craftsmanship in its broader sense.

Visitors will be able to discover initiatives related to travel and destinations in Algeria, traditional and contemporary craftsmanship, visual arts, gastronomy, cultural projects, and stakeholders committed to promoting Algerian heritage. This diversity makes the salon a true cultural crossroads, reflecting the richness and plurality of Algerian identity.
