The open-air theater “Mohia” will come alive with the rhythms of the desert and the Mediterranean this July 31, during an exceptional concert featuring Tikoubaouine and Melissa Sekhi.

Organized by the Directorate of Culture and the Arts of Tizi Ouzou, in collaboration with the Mouloud Mammeri Cultural Center and producer Ismail Khaldi, this event is part of the Summer Nights 2025 program, which celebrates the musical diversity of Algeria.

Originating from southern Algeria, Tikoubaouine draws inspiration from Tuareg blues and Saharan sounds to deliver music that is both deeply rooted and universal. Hypnotic melodies, traditional rhythms, and a captivating stage presence promise an immersive journey through the dunes of the Tassili.

Alongside them, singer Melissa Sekhi will bring a more Mediterranean flair, blending Kabyle folk, Amazigh poetry, and contemporary touches. Her voice, both soft and powerful, conveys an artistic sincerity that deeply resonates with audiences.
