The commune of Ath Yanni (Tizi Ouzou Province) is preparing to host the 19th edition of the Festival of Jewelry, scheduled from July 31 to August 9, 2025.

This emblematic event, also known as Tameɣra n Wezref, celebrates an ancestral craft that has become a symbol of local identity.

Organized under the patronage of the Wilaya of Tizi Ouzou and in partnership with several cultural and associative institutions, the festival highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of Kabyle jewelers, renowned far beyond regional borders.

Coral necklaces, silver fibulas, engraved bracelets… each piece is a true work of art, rich in history and symbolism.

An Immersion into Kabyle Heritage

The festival also serves as a showcase of Amazigh culture in all its diversity. For nine days, exhibitions, handicraft sales, conferences, creative workshops, and traditional performances will bring the village of Ath Yanni to life.

Visitors will not only admire the jewelry but also interact with artisans, learn about their techniques, and explore a universe where beauty meets memory.

This edition promises to be one of the highlights of Kabylia’s cultural summer, under the theme:
“One Jewel, One Celebration, One Identity.”
